Rent the Main Hall

The Main Hall is ideal for concerts, conferences, business meetings, dinners/receptions, weddings and presentations. The room is fully equipped with streaming facilities. This makes the Main Hall also suitable for online events.

Capacity

  • Flexible arrangements;
  • Standing reception up to 250 people;
  • Seating for up to 200 people (conference setup), dinners for up to 125 people (at tables);
  • Depending on the event, other rooms of the church can be rented as needed.

Facilities

The Main Hall is wheelchair accessible and has the following facilities:

  • Free WIFI;
  • Live streaming possible;
  • 100” monitor on a mobile trolley, including Mediaplayer, operable from a PC;
  • Modern sanitary facilities including a toilet for disabled persons;
  • Wardrobe and large professional pantry;
  • Stage with space for 50 people. There are 19 separate elements (risers) of 2 by 1 meter available so that a total surface area of 38 m2 can be obtained. Moreover, these elements can be built at different heights (40, 60, 80 or 100 cm). Almost any setup is possible;
  • Concert grand piano (use under special conditions);
  • Organ (use under special conditions). The Bätz-Witte organ from 1885 was restored in 2001. Organ recitals by the organist of the church at events is possible;
  • Underfloor heating;
  • Carillon. The carillon can be played by the city carillonneur upon arrival of the guests;
  • Projection screen/beamer/overhead projector. These can be installed on request;
  • Catering. A snack, drink, lunch or dinner can be arranged. The choice of the caterer is made in consultation. We often work together with a number of caterers in the area.
